Tim Klemz, CPA, CIA

VP of Finance

Tim oversees and assists with finance, HR, IT, office administration, and compliance for the BluPeak companies.

Tim is a Fargo, ND native and graduated from Northwestern College, in Orange City, Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration. After obtaining his undergraduate degree he spent several years in both public accounting as well as internal auditing working with both private and public companies. Beyond audit experience, he has several years of CFO and management experience at a vertically integrated enterprise in real estate development, commercial construction, and property management as well as working as a controller for a publicly traded company.

Tim joined BluPeak as VP of Finance in the summer of 2021. The strategic growth plan, opportunities to craft and enhance processes across entities, the investments made and commitment to give back to the local community and BluPeak’s disciplined use of the Entrepreneurial Operating System drove him to join the management team.

Tim enjoys challenging the status quo, analyzing the numbers, and enhancing accounting knowledge and understanding at all levels of the enterprise. Tim is married to his high school sweetheart, Nichole, and they enjoy spending time with their two sons and two daughters. On a Friday night you will find the Klemz family enjoying a movie and popcorn with the kids.
